Graduation Requirements
The undergraduate program requires at least 128 credits
to obtain the bachelor science (B.S.) degree, including
A. university required 28 credits
B. college required 3 credits
C. department required 69 credits
D. department selective 28 credits
Career Perspective
Following completion of the program, graduates living in Taiwan can take qualified exam for optometrist license. Then, they can be hired as an optometrist, optician, or orthoptician in eye clinics, hospitals, or optical shops. They can also further study the Master or Ph.D. programs in Taiwan or foreign graduate schools to enhance their optometry knowledge and research abilities. Moreover, they can apply for admission of optometry program in USA to become a doctor of optometry (OD).
